Answers to the questions we get asked the most.
We are a group of developers from around the world who have an unhealthy obsession with preserving old media. We dedicate our time and effort to preserving, and restoring digital history so you can have a great experience with our projects.
Our goal is to preserve old media. We put this into practice with Rec Room, with our flagship project being Radium.
Radium is a preservation project of Rec Room's 2023 release. We've exported tons of rooms that were available at that time and allow players to socialize via them!

No. Our servers are entirely seperate from Rec Room, and accounts are separate between the two.
We store little to no personal identifiers, other than your IP address and a unique identifier that lets us know you're you. Passwords given to us are securely stored with PBKDF2 (Password-Based Key Derivation Function 2). Your data is safe!
Rec Room is a live service. Once a build gets replaced or a server goes dark, everything people built in it is gone unless someone saved it first. The rooms, events, and communities people put real time and creativity into deserve better than that. We think that's worth preserving, even if it's just a snapshot of one moment in time.
You can follow active development in our community Discord servers. On the navbar, hover over 'Community' and you can join them!
