By accessing or using the RecRoomArchive website, projects, or community spaces (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Some projects, such as Radium, have their own additional terms, see Section 11.
RecRoomArchive is a volunteer-run, non-commercial project dedicated to preserving the history of Rec Room, including past versions, experiences, and related materials. RecRoomArchive is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rec Room Inc. or any of its affiliates. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced belong to their respective owners.
Unless otherwise noted, the source code for our open source projects is made available under the GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL), version 3 or later. You are free to use, study, modify, and redistribute this code under the terms of that license. This does not extend to archived third-party game content, assets, or trademarks, which remain the property of their respective owners and are preserved for historical and educational purposes only.
When using the Service, you agree not to:
Our Discord servers and other community spaces have their own rules, which you agree to follow in addition to these Terms. We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access for anyone who violates those rules or these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that archived content is complete, accurate, or continuously available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RecRoomArchive and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as Discord, GitHub, and Ko-fi. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you have questions about these Terms, reach out to us on our Discord or through our Email channel.
Individual RecRoomArchive projects, including Radium, may have their own accounts, in-game conduct rules, moderation systems, and additional terms of service tailored to that project. Using such a project means you also agree to its specific terms, which supplement these Terms and control on matters specific to that project. You can find Radium's terms through the project directly.
